Couple Bridge In a Small Village

Already study one year half at here, Johor; more accurately should be Parit Raja, Batu Pahat. What a pity, among this period of time there are not much chance to walk around based on the unlimited demand from lecturer; no leading and without accompanies.

Last week, dream was come true; Kheng and I took 30 minutes from the Batu city which is 10km to Segenting (a small Genting?). It is not easy found without people's leading, thanks to Kellyn, a Batukian ^o^. Segenting is a small village and the fishes are their income sources, life here are simple, peaceful and located just beside the sea!

There is a temple known as Chong Long Gong (崇龙宫) in Chinese, is a popular tourism spot in Batu Pahat, especially among the Taoists and Buddhists. Reason for the popularity is not their fishes are fresher but it is because of the blessing in prosperity, even Shyang mother planned visit for biting a number before. It increased my curiosity and felt more interesting to this village!

There are few great fishes (Arapaima, native of South Americas based on the informal reference) in a small cave pool. They are black in color with the great body and the largest being approximately 6 feats @.@ . According to Kellyn information, it brings luck and prosperity if touched it; meanwhile, if they swim close to you is mean you have luck too. First saw of it was frightening, their body are large, and I dare only after few touched by other -.-. Luckily, time was late and they were having sweet dreams, looked tame. Their body is very smooth “Mumamia…bless me good luck in everything...” greedy -.-!

After took some photos around, we were leaded toward a bridge on another side. It named ‘Couple Bridge’ and the length approximately 2-3m longs. The sky was dark and made us unable to differentiate the sea and sky, unable to see any nice scene at the same time. But the starts hanging on the sky was brightness, more clear and beautiful compared to KL one. Felt completely peace, comfortable while the winds were blowing on my skin, waves were making sound like music and the fishes were jumping on the surface of the water. Mind was fulfilled by good matters on such silence night.

Birthday to another scorpion, Ivan Chan! Another kid which should listen to me... (wahaha *evil). The girls bought a small cake to wish him happy birthday, it is first time celebrate birthday on the bridge, beside the sea, at the midnight as well. Meanwhile, I have missed my friend’s birthday party on KL. Happy birthday to Ivan and Voon Voon la.

couple love can be last forever if walk on it with holding hands together from start to end of the bridge. True or False?
